“Being first-generation everything, I have been on a long journey of self-confidence and a lot of what you (TLSM) said today really resonated with me. I am grounded in who I am and I want to reach the highest places I can not only because I deserve it but because I want to open that same door for others behind me.”

Kairy Bautista

North Carolina Central University School of Law, 2025

“Although it’s only been a few months since we last talked, I’ve reached out to numerous attorneys to get coffee and offer my resume. Now I have multiple interviews and opportunities that I never would have had without your (TLSM’s) advice. Your willingness to help others makes an incredible difference. I continue to share our interaction with other law students and point them to your Law School Mentor page.”
